I am a Robot!

It was bad enough having to decipher one word to enter a message when visiting a blog but now, to 'prove we are not a robot' (what!!) we have to type two words copied from some scrypt.
Sometimes the words are so obscure with overlapping letters in fake, blotchy handwriting that it's taken me three attempts to get it right! It puts me off making a comment and sometimes if I get it wrong I give up and don't bother to send the message.
Why do we have to do this?
Every blogger gets the chance to moderate each of their messages so if some come in as 'spam' they don't have to approve them, they can be deleted.
Sorry to spout off but I was just enjoying reading some of my favourite blogs until I struggled to leave a message twice in a row.

Happy Tuesday!

Tuesdays are always happy days because it's 'Dollshouse Club' and Oly comes round to play.
She brought me some shelves she can't use and I gave her some basket straw and cake boxes. We are both like children with smiles on our faces.
Oly was putting together buffet food for her wedding scene and my goodness she must be planning to feed hundreds of guests! I'm sure she will show you on her blog when it's finished.
I was working on gifts for Kaisa's Birthday Swap.
Later the mail arrived and my beautiful hat arrived from Kat the Hat Lady. I don't collect anything witchy at all but have always loved her hats and this pink one was just too hard to resist!

Now I've finished a whole lot of cushions I was working on as well.

 What shall I make next?

Cookie Boxes with Cookies!

I spent the best part of two days making a million cookies (it felt like that many) for some boxes I'd designed. Today I made the boxes and got to the good part where I fill them with the cookies but even though I'd made so many I still didn't have enough!

Four boxes remain empty - shall I make more cookies? Not for a while!

Gifts from Oly

On my return from England last week Oly came for a cup of tea and a catch up with all our news.
I was surprised and delighted with these pretty boxes she had made for me! Don't you agree they are just lovely. Not only the pretty boxes but Oly has filled them, one with soaps and the other with chocolates - even a selection card inside!

 Thank you Oly, I love them! (Sorry I've photographed some upside down!)

Diamond Jubilee Celebration

It's a very busy time in the United Kingdom this year with both the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and also the hosting of the Olympics so I thought a few patriotic items might well be included in the miniature home.
This is what I've been working on this week and they'll all be going in to my Etsy shop shortly.
