Lots of New Ideas

I wanted jars of buttons for the Sewing Shop and finally I made some.
I thought I'd made loads until I put them in the jars! I need to make a whole lot more but it's a start.
I also made spatulas for the Bake Shop, seen here with one of the new Christmas tea towels!
I've started a new Christmas section in the Home Decor department. Lots more to finish but this is it so far.

There are tea towels, cushions, gift wrap, bunting, cupcake boxes and loads more and they all mix and match!
More to come later!
Have a good week,

Interior Design Shop Front

Going back a few years - to 1992 - I made this shop as a club project. We built our room boxes from wood and then decorated and filled them. There was a huge assortment of shops; toys, grocers, china store, sweet shops and even an undertaker's! Mine has battery powered lights with the battery holder behind the front door in the fake entrance.
It was fun to make furnishing fabrics and rolls of wallpaper, matching roller blind and my first frilled cushion.

This photo has a little glare on the glass but you can just see my little rabbit patchwork cushion.
This has been displayed for 20 years and has travelled to four different homes with me. It was the easiest of my houses to move!
I hope your week is going brilliantly!

Cushions Again!

I just can't keep away from cushions. I've managed to make 40 cushions this past week and got some orders together as well. Here are a few of them.
These are all cake related - yum!
These are trimmed with pink
These are trimmed with blue
I always seem drawn back to cushions! I love making them and in return they make such a difference to a scene.
I hope your weekend was better than mine; I had migraine-again, I hope it wasn't the cushions!

Interior Design and Christmas Sparkle!

I've been putting together some 'bling'. Quite a bit more than I planned, as I got carried away with the sparkle and glamour. I also made a few candles, all glittered and sparkling for Christmas, or if you're like me, -  any old time, I love sparkle! So now I shall have a 'home decor' department somewhere in my shop!
